About

What is a Siren?

Siren (sīrən), in Greek mythology, one of three sea nymphs, usually represented with the head of a woman and the body of a bird. Daughters of Phorcus or of Achelous, the Sirens inhabited an island surrounded by dangerous rocks. They sang so enchantingly that all who heard were drawn near and shipwrecked. Jason and the Argonauts were saved from them by the music of Orpheus, whose songs were lovelier. Odysseus escaped them by having himself tied securely to a mast and by stopping the ears of his men.

What is the Sirens program?

Sirens is a women’s only fitness system that applies what has been learned through the science of training world class athletes to achieve optimum health and body composition for all women in a 30 minute workout.  Siren’s was developed by Jacques DeVore owner of Titan Sports Performance Center.

How is Sirens different from any other circuit training or aerobics class, big box fitness center, or personal training?

  • Sirens is both a personalized training and healthy eating program all in one.

Not only do you get workouts based on your level of fitness and goals, you have a hands on healthy eating program, with accountability, feedback and real tools to get you to your optimum energy level and body weight.

  • Sirens is both a 30 minute workout and healthy eating program. The huge improvement in fitness and body composition with the women in the program has been achieved with an average of 1 hour of training per week! People spend huge amounts of wasted time working out a week on a regime that really has no benefit.
  • The Sirens program is based on the ideal of sustainability.  It is designed so that you can easily fit into any busy schedule.
  • Sirens leaves no woman behind!  We track and monitor your improvements both in fitness, energy output, and body composition and will work with you until we obtain the outcome desire.
  • You will learn how your body metabolizes food and how this impacts your body composition, health and overall physical performance.
  • We are Strength and Conditioning Coaches not personal trainers.  As coaches, we want to get the highest level of performance possible for each of our clients.

Exercise and the search of that lean strong body elude most women because of the difficulty in finding a program that not only produces results but has sustainability. To make dramatic change in your body takes work. At Sirens you literally become part of a team that is working together to “Win the Workout”.  You will find this delivery of exercise has never before been utilized in a commercial fitness environment. You will actually care about the other people in the room and they will care about you and helping you to reach your goals.

In addition Siren’s couples this incredible exercise experience with an eye opening understanding of how your body works and what causes the gain and loss of body weight. You will learn how our diets evolved to where they are today and why. Armed with this understanding you will be able to make rapid change in your body and health. It will surprise you that there is a sustainable way to eat healthy, not be hungry, and lose or maintain your weight.

THE FOCUS GROUP:

A focus group was created during the summer of 2011 with approximately 70 women.   In the 8 weeks no woman worked out more than a total of 12 hours.  A survey was conducted after only three weeks of training with the following highlights:

  • 100% of the women rated the workout excellent to good.
  • 97.9% of the women rated the nutritional component of the program excellent to good.
  • Over 91% of the women thought the team approach to the workouts was a major contributor to the success of the workouts.
  • 83% of the women thought the 30 min workout was long enough.
  • Within the first 3 weeks of training no women trained more than 4.5 hours total yet 78.7% saw noticeable gains in fitness and body composition.
  • 91.5% of the women thought the nutritional component was vital to the success of the program.

There is nothing more rewarding than changing someone’s life through fitness. I look forward to working together and helping you to empower yourself through my knowledge of the science of fitness and health.
